Richard 'Dick' Morath – Chairperson

Dick has more than 35 years' experience in funds management and banking.

Dick currently holds several board positions with organisations that operate under the National Australia Group of companies. He is Chairman of the Distribution Board and Financial Planning companies in National Wealth Management in Australia, and of the Compliance Committee for all National Wealth Management dealerships and National Australia Financial Planning.

Dick is Chairman of Medfin, a wholly owned subsidiary of MLC that provides financial services to the medical and dental market, Chair of National Australia Trustees and Director of BNZ Life. Dick is also a Director of MLC Nominees, which is the Trustee of MLC's superannuation business.

During his career in financial services, Dick has held senior and leadership roles with the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney and State Bank of NSW. He has also worked as Managing Director of Australian Bank in the 1980s, CEO of MLC Retail Funds and CEO of MLC's corporate funds business in the 1990s.

Prior to retiring in December 2001, Dick worked with Lend Lease Corporation as Group Executive and was responsible for relations with media, analysts, shareholders and government.

Dick has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in London and Australia and is an associate of the Securities Institute of Australia.

Jeremy Duffield – Non-executive Director

Jeremy is the Managing Director and founder of Vanguard Investments Australia Ltd, which he established in Melbourne in 1996, and serves as Vanguard's Asia Pacific headquarters. Jeremy joined The Vanguard Group in the United States in 1980 as Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and was Senior Vice President of Planning and Development until moving back to Australia in 1996.

Jeremy is a Director on the Vanguard Investments Japan Ltd Board and Vanguard Investments Singapore Pty Ltd Board and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Investment and Financial Services Association (IFSA).

Jeremy is also a member of the Australian Government's Financial Sector Advisory Council (FSAC) and sits on the Financial Literacy Foundation Advisory Board and ASIC's Business Consultative Panel.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and he has completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.

Scott Hartley – Director

Scott has extensive experience in the corporate and institutional market. Prior to his appointment as Plum Managing Director in March 2009, Scott was General Manager of Strategy and Marketing for MLC from 2005.

Prior to 2005 Scott was General Manager of Institutional Business, within MLC’s Corporate Solutions business, responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of MLC's wholesale investment and advisory businesses, including MLC Implemented Consulting and JANA Investment Advisers. He has also been a Director on the JANA Board since 2003.

In 2003 Scott managed MLC's acquisition and integration of Plum Financial Services, leading a successful change management program.

In addition to his role as Plum Managing Director, Scott is also responsible for MLC & NAB Wealth's corporate and institutional client relationships through industry leading businesses JANA Investment Advisers and MasterKey Business Super.

Michael Clancy - Director

Michael is the Executive General Manager, Investment Platforms, of MLC & NAB Wealth. He responsible for leading the investment platforms business including MLC MasterKey, MLC MasterKey Custom, MLC MasterKey Business Super, Plum Financial Services and JANA Investment Advisers.

Prior to this, Michael was the General Manager of MLC’s Investment Management Division for five years.

Michael joined MLC’s Investment Management Division in 1998 and has held various investment roles in Australia and the UK for the MLC Group.

Prior to joining MLC, Michael spent eight years with Frank Russell Company in Australia in both its asset consulting and manager research teams.
