The Escalator Program: a simple and innovative way to help save more towards a financially secure retirement
Plums ground breaking Escalator Program helps make saving towards a financially secure retirement easier, even for those who typically shy away from financial decisions or have little knowledge about superannuation or investment. The Program is the first automatic superannuation savings program of its kind in Australia and is only available to members of participating Plum Superannuation Fund sub-plans.
The Escalator Program allows participating members to automatically increase their superannuation contributions in small steps of 1%, 2% or 3 % each year, up to a maximum contribution rate of 15%, including the 9% Superannuation Guarantee. And because each automatic step-up in contributions can be timed to coincide with an annual pay review, members are able to avoid a sudden impact on their income.
Participating members just make a few simple choices, then set and forget – it's a simple and easy way to help save more towards a better retirement. Of course, you should always consider seeking financial advice when making decisions about your super.
