At Plum when it comes to your super and broader financial issues, we want to provide you with education and support so you can make the most of your super when you retire. We understand seeking financial advice can be daunting, not to mention expensive, but seeking advice through Plum doesn’t have to be.

Do I need financial advice?

Most of us are trying to save for something; our next holiday, our first home, a new car or even for retirement. We all know coming up with a savings plan can be hard with day-to-day living costs increasing.

But, you don’t have to go it alone, a financial adviser can help you set realistic goals for your money and help you come up with a financial plan to help you achieve those goals. A financial adviser may be able help with a whole range of money matters, including:

• budgeting and managing your day-to-day money;
• reducing debt;
• minimising tax;
• making the most of your super;
• protecting you and your family’s finances with insurance;
• planning now for retirement;
• building an investment portfolio; and
• managing your finances through major life changes such as marriage and having children.

Advice that suits your needs

We understand that not everyone needs complex financial advice, so we also provide access to free general financial advice over the phone. General advice topics include questions such as ‘how can I boost my super’ or ‘what type of insurance cover is available’? To get access to free general advice please call 1300 55 7586.

When getting general advice, if it becomes obvious that your needs are in fact a little more complex, you can arrange a face-to-face appointment with a financial adviser. This initial appointment is free.

Who is Momentum Financial Advice?

Momentum Financial Advice provides Plum members with access to a panel of financial advisers. Each adviser is professionally qualified and experienced. Momentum Advisers have obtained a high level of industry accreditation, have a minimum of three years experience providing face-to-face financial advice and are experienced in providing advice to clients in a workplace environment (if this is your preference).
