Plum Pension

At Plum, we take care of our members' superannuation, investment and financial needs for their whole journey to, and in, retirement. The Plum sponsored, MLC MasterKey Pension Fundamentals (Plum Pension) is one of the many ways we help our members with this journey.

The Plum Pension is essentially two solutions in one:

1. Transition to retirement

With the transition option, you can keep working and putting super contributions into your Plum account while also drawing down on your super.

2. Retirement income

With the retirement income option, you can transfer other funds into your pension account, select the appropriate investment strategy and determine the amount and frequency of your regular pension payments.

You can even make lump sum withdrawals, subject to certain conditions.

• Flexible pension payment methods and frequency:
  • Weekly;
  • Fortnightly;
  • Monthly;
  • Quarterly;
  • Half-yearly; or
  • Yearly.
• The Plum Pension is issued by one of the leading financial services providers – MLC via the MasterKey Fundamentals Pension (the Trustee is MLC Nominees Ltd).
• When you call a Member Services Consultant, they will know whether you hold a Plum Pension account and will refer pension queries immediately to MLC without you needing to make an additional call. Calls to MLC will also be able to be referred back to Plum if you have a query about your Plum account balance.
