What benefits may be available?
Key benefits you may be eligible for include the:
- Age Pension.
- Pensioner Concession Card, and
- Commonwealth Seniors Health Card.
What is the Age Pension?
The Age Pension provides income support for older Australians who need it and acts as a safety net for most retirees. See our Age Pension page for more information.
What is the Pensioner Concession Card?
The Pensioner Concession Card provides discounts and concessions including a discount on Pharmaceutical Benefit Scheme prescription medicines. You will automatically receive this card if you qualify for the Age Pension. To find out more, visit the Centrelink website.
What is the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card?
If you don't qualify for the Age Pension but have reached pension age, you may be eligible for a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card. This card may help make prescription medicines and other health services more affordable. To find out more, visit the Centrelink website.
