MLC Australian Shares

The fund invests primarily in companies listed (or expected to be listed) on the Australian Securities Exchange (and other regulated exchanges), and is typically diversified across major listed industry groups. It may have a small exposure to companies listed outside of Australia from time to time.

MLC IncomeBuilder

The fund invests primarily in listed Australian companies that have the potential to provide future sustainable or growing dividends.

The fund is expected to generate tax-efficient returns by:

  • investing in companies expected to have high franking levels, and
  • carefully managing the realisation of capital gains, where possible.

The fund is expected to provide returns consistent with investing in a broad range of Australian companies.

MLC Australian Shares Index

The fund will hold most of the securities in the Benchmark, S&P/ASX300 Total Return Index, allowing for individual security weightings to vary marginally from the Benchmark. The fund is typically diversified across major listed industry groups.
